Best Cloth Insulated Wiring Replacement Service in Glen Ridge, NJ
Cloth insulated wiring served its era well, but the rubber under the cloth grows brittle with age and heat, cracking at fixtures, junctions, and anywhere it bends. The failures concentrate where the wire has worked hardest, which is why old circuits fail at the ceiling box first.
Moore Power Electrical replaces cloth wiring across Glen Ridge, NJ with modern cable, fished through existing cavities to spare the plaster, phased circuit by circuit where budgets need it, and sequenced highest risk first. Insurers increasingly force this work, and our completion documentation is written for their files.
Typical homes run $8,000 to $15,000 full replacement, less when phased. Call (815) 456-4349 for an evaluation in Glen Ridge, NJ.
